Interested in being a Nurse Aide?

One of the courses for which there are open slots still available in the summer is Nurse Aide I.  The Nurse Aide curriculum prepares individuals to work under the supervision of licensed health care professionals  such as Registered Nurses in performing nursing care and services for persons of all ages. It's part of the stackable series of courses offered through BOOST.

Course work includes lectures, lab time and clinical. The lecture and labs are on campus, and the clinical will be held at a hospital or nursing home facility. The coursework helps prepare a student for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) examination, which is needed to be licensed.

We've updated the Nurse Aide page on the website and provided contact information should you have any questions about what you need to enroll.
