Lashona Miller is the BOOST Academic Coach and Recruiter at Robeson Community College. She is a graduate of North Carolina Central University with a degree in Community Health Education. Her working experience has been in the field of public health working in various health education divisions for local and state government. She has experience in women's health, adolescent health, disease prevention and career counseling. Ms. Miller is dedicated to helping students achieve their dreams and reach their goals.

Preparing early for any exam gives you as a student a competitive edge to do your best. This is a strategy used by all students. As a pre-health student, applying to the Associates Degree of Nursing or Practical Nursing Diploma programs at Robeson Community College, you will be required to take the TEAS V Exam. The TEAS V consists of English, Reading, Language, and Science.

Instead of spending only a few days to a few weeks to prepare for one of the biggest and most challenging pre-entrance exams, prospective students should prepare at a steady pace to have a competitive score. Take the time to prepare yourself now by creating a strategy to learn the needed materials to perform well and earn a competitive score on the pre-entrance nursing exam.

Are you searching for a quiet place to study on campus? BOOST now has a study hall for students every Monday through Thursday between the hours of 9am-12pm in building #17, room 1749B! This will allow students to get help from peers, study any subjects in between classes, and ask questions about study strategies in the learning community.
