Medical Simulation and 3D/VR Technology

3D technology being used for healthcare trainingMedical Simulation and 3-Dimensional Virtual Reality Technology is available at Robeson Community College through the BOOST grant.  The college has two state-of-the-art, high-fidelity patient simulation rooms as well as Cooperative Learning with Simulation Skills Training Labs.  Medical simulation and technology-enhanced training better prepares students to perform patient care in a clinical setting.  The labs are staffed by an experienced Simulation Specialist and faculty who work to enhance and support student outcomes.
Labs are equipped with:

  • ALS Simulators
  • IV Training Arms
  • SIM Pads
  • I-Bench Systems
  • Microsoft Surface Pros
