Better Occupational Outcomes with Simulated Training (BOOST) has been an innovative mult-year program funded by the U.S. Department of Labor.  Note that the grant has been completed and is now over.  However, the technology and training programs remain.  BOOST has been a training program that enhances Robeson Community College’s commitment to provide students with new pathways to healthcare careers.  BOOST selects 48 students each semester to take part in a structured learning community.

The program uses high-tech simulators and virtual reality to train students with no previous healthcare experience. Using this technology and online coursework, students can earn a variety of credentials within two semesters.   Individuals interested in becoming a member of the BOOST Learning Community must first apply to Robeson Community College for admissions.
